Monel Grade 400 Forged Threaded Elbow (UNS N04400) does work – harden during machining and has higher strength and “gumminess” not typical of steels. These Alloy 400 Forged Socket Weld Tee are nickel – based alloys that contain between 29 percent and 34 percent of copper. Although the grade can be tempered or cold worked to increase its properties, our Monel 400 Threaded Pipe End Cap Fittings is supplied in the annealed condition as standard. The conventional machining techniques used on iron alloys may perhaps be used for these Monel Grade 400 Threaded Elbow Forged.
