The structure of SS ASME SA182 F347 Forged Threaded Fittings is austenitic with an adequate content of nickel, where corrosion resistance generally increases with increasing content of chromium. In contrast to the pure chromium steels (ferritic stainless steel), SS 347 Forged Socket Weld Fittings results in significant changes in the mechanical properties, such as increased workability and ductility, better resistance to thermal stress and improved weldability. The austenitic structure of SS 347 Forged Threaded Union also results in a change in the physical properties of the steel. Hot working of SS 347 Forged Threaded Bushing should be avoided below 927 Degree C.
