What is a Stainless Steel 310H Flanges
Stainless Steel 310H Flanges have excellent toughness, even down to cryogenic temperatures, although other grades are normally used in sub-zero environments. The high chromium content – intended to increase high-temperature properties – also gives these SS 310H Blind Flanges good aqueous corrosion resistance. Seawater resistance of our SS UNS S31009 Slip-on Flanges is about 22 Degree C, which is similar to that of Grade 316. In high-temperature service, these SS 310H Weld Neck Flanges exhibit good resistance to oxidizing and carburizing atmospheres. Our Grade 310H Stainless Steel Flanges resist fuming nitric acid at room temperature and fused nitrates up to 425 Degree C. The high carbon contents do make these 310H Stainless Steel Flanges susceptible to sensitization and hence intergranular corrosion after elevated temperature exposure or welding. Our SS 310H Spectacle Blind Flanges are often produced in “Dual Certified” form – mainly in plate and pipe, which as well have chemical and mechanical properties. These SS 310H Ring Joint Type Flanges is subject to stress corrosion cracking but more resistant than SS 304 or SS 316.
