SS 347H Slip on Flanges are generally more responsive to heat and mechanical treatments than carbon steels. The heat – treated SS UNS S34709 Long Weld Neck Flanges is available in both Annealed and Normalized, which produces specific properties that are not found in regular carbon steel. SS 347H Socket Weld Flanges has been rolled at room temperature, below its recrystallization temperature, which increases its strength and hardness and decreases its ductility.
